Annual Trip.
The WGA subsidised trip.
For the past few years, the Gardening Association has organised an annual coach trip for members - usually in July, to an event of horticultural interest. In the past we have been to many venues including flower festivals, Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and Tatton Park.
The cost to WGA members is small since the hire of the coach is subsidised by the Association. This event has proved very popular and numbers are limited to the size of the coach.
Information on the 2012 trip will follow shortly.

This year we are doing something different. We are going back in time and visiting The Living Museum of the North at Beamish, County Durham. Leave Wilsden 8.30am. Return at 7.30pm. 2010 Trip.
Yorkshire Lavender
The price of the trip includes a cup of tea or coffee, and an opportunity to buy a lavender scone. A particularly popular treat are the freshly baked lavender scones and locally made lavender ice-cream served with full waitress service.
Castle Howard.
Entry to Castle Howard and the grounds are included in the price.
The Wetherby Whaler
6pm The Wetherby Whaler for a fish and chip supper (the price is incuded).
